Moderated 21+ discussion — education only
Every discussion and reply is reviewed by the Bsmile editorial team before it appears here. Member posts are opinions, not Bsmile, legal or New York OCM guidance, and nothing in this community is medical, dosing or legal advice. No cannabis is sold, priced, shipped, traded or arranged through this site — cannabis is available only at licensed New York dispensaries. Never share personal contact details or location information. Read the Community Guidelines.
What you can post
- General adult cannabis education and culture.
- Accessories, glass, grinders, rolling papers and storage.
- Terpenes, aroma and general strain conversation.
- Published New York rules, including seed and home-cultivation rules, described as published rules with a source.
- Experiences at licensed New York dispensaries.
- New York Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) updates.
- Responsible-use education, with clear disclaimers.
What is never allowed
- Buying, selling, trading, gifting, shipping or arranging cannabis, or offering to.
- Asking for unlicensed sellers, or for ways around licensing, lab testing, taxes, age limits or OCM rules.
- Participation by anyone under 21.
- Medical diagnosis or treatment claims, health claims, or personalised dosing guidance.
- Advice that encourages driving or operating machinery while impaired.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, spam, scams or impersonation.
- Doxxing, or sharing personal contact details, addresses or location data — yours or anyone else's.
- Presenting unverified statements as official Bsmile, legal or OCM guidance.
Photos
Photos are reviewed by the Bsmile editorial team before they appear. Nothing you upload is visible to anyone else until it is approved. Photos are stored privately, never at a public address, and any location data your camera saved is stripped before the image is kept.
Uploading
- JPEG, PNG or WebP still photos only — no animations, video, PDFs or other files.
- Profile photo up to 3 MB. Up to 3 photos per discussion, each up to 5 MB.
- Every photo needs a short description so members using a screen reader can follow along.
- Upload only photos you took or own the rights to, and only with the consent of anyone shown.
- Location data and other hidden camera information is stripped from every upload.
Never allowed in a photo
- No sales listings, prices, payment details, shipping, gifting, trades or meet-ups.
- No exact addresses, storefront signage with an address, licence plates or other identifying location detail.
- No people under 21, and no photos of anyone who has not agreed to appear.
- No harassment, hate, threats, personal information or contact details.
- No medical, dosing or health claims, and no images presenting cannabis as medicine.
- No cultivation instructions or anything showing how to work around New York law.
- No impersonation of the Office of Cannabis Management, a licensed dispensary, a doctor or a lawyer.
- No explicit, violent, illegal or otherwise prohibited imagery.
By uploading you confirm the photo is yours or that you have permission to share it, that everyone shown has agreed to appear and is 21 or older, and that Bsmile may display it in the Community once it has been reviewed. You can delete a photo that is still awaiting review at any time, and you can ask the editorial team to take down an approved one.
How moderation works
- Posts that break these guidelines are rejected before publication, or removed if already published.
- Repeat or serious breaches can result in an account being suspended from posting.
- You can edit or withdraw your own post while it is still awaiting review.
- You can report any published post for editorial review.
Your display name, join date and approved contribution count are public. Your email address and account details are never published and are used only to run your account and contact you about it. See the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
