    How to verify that a dispensary is licensed in New York

    OCM publishes a dispensary location verification tool, and New York State Open Data publishes the current list of OCM licensees. Both let you confirm a retailer before you buy.

    • Only licensed New York dispensaries may sell adult-use cannabis. Verify the retailer on the OCM tool first.

    New York publishes current OCM licenses as an open dataset. Bau-AJ LLC d/b/a Bsmile Cannabis holds the New York Adult-Use Processor Type 3 — Branding license; Bsmilecannabis LLC owns the Bsmile Cannabis brand and intellectual property and holds no New York cannabis license.

    What this means for adults 21+

    • You can confirm any New York cannabis licensee, including the Bsmile branding license holder, in the state's own dataset.
    • Branded Bsmile cannabis products are manufactured through authorized relationships with appropriately licensed New York cannabis processors.
