How we source, review and correct

The standards behind every Bsmile Journal and Learning article.

What the Journal is

The Journal and Learning pages publish general educational content and company news for adults 21 and over.
It is not medical, health or legal advice. It gives no dosing guidance and makes no treatment, benefit or effect claims.
Cannabis is never sold, priced or shipped from this website. Adults are directed only to licensed New York dispensaries.

New York law, licensing, dispensary and home-cultivation statements cite the New York Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) or official New York regulation text.
General health and safety statements cite federal public-health sources such as the CDC and FDA, or Poison Help.
Bsmile product statements cite Bsmile's own product specifications and printed packaging, and are described as what the packaging states — not as independently tested results.
Brand, entity and licensing statements cite Bsmile's licensing page and New York State's official list of current OCM licenses. Licensing pages are never used to support product or performance claims.
A statement that cannot be supported by a listed source is left out. Each article lists its sources with the date they were last checked.

Articles are written by the Bsmile Team.
Before publication, each article is checked internally by the Bsmile Team against its listed sources, including current OCM guidance.
This is Bsmile's own internal editorial review. It is not a third-party compliance audit, and unless an article explicitly says otherwise, no outside medical, legal, laboratory or government body has reviewed or approved it.
AI tools may help draft or edit text. AI never publishes, approves or makes a final decision — a person approves every published article.

"Published" is the date an article first went live. "Last reviewed" is the date it was last checked against its sources.
Dates change only when that event actually happens; they are never refreshed automatically. Small spelling or formatting fixes do not change the review date.
Rules change. Always confirm current requirements with OCM.

To report an error, email Bsmile@bsmilecannabis.com with the article link and the issue.
Material corrections — facts, rules or product details — are made after checking, and the article's review date is updated.
Spelling and formatting fixes are made without a note. An article that can no longer be supported is unpublished.

Accessory articles may link to the Bsmile accessories store (shop.bsmilecannabis.com), operated by Bsmilecannabis LLC for non-cannabis items only. These links are labelled as Bsmile's own store.
Cannabis articles never link to a store or checkout.
