No. Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and unsafe.

No. Cannabis impairs the coordination, reaction time and judgement that driving requires, and driving under its influence is illegal in New York.
Impairment can last longer than people expect, and edibles in particular have a delayed onset and a long duration. Plan another way home before you consume.
Do not operate machinery or a boat after use either, and never travel with an open cannabis package in a vehicle.
