What are the New York universal cannabis symbol and a Certificate of Analysis?
The universal symbol is New York's required marking that a package contains cannabis. A Certificate of Analysis is the licensed laboratory's test report for a batch.

New York requires licensed adult-use cannabis packaging to carry state-mandated markings and warnings, including the universal symbol that identifies the package as containing cannabis and as being for adults 21 and over.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the report a licensed laboratory issues for a tested batch. It records cannabinoid content and the contaminant testing required by the state, and the batch identifier on the package is what ties a product back to its COA.
